Operation Anna to Nathaniel a Success!

Robin Pfaff, President/Chief Operating Officer

SharpLogixx recognizes the sacrifices service members make to keep us safe. So we were proud to partner with Dogs2DogTags to provide the necessary funds to make a pet-to-vet match.

Nate Seavecki is a retired Marine who served his country in Afghanistan and Africa. Anna is a black lab companion and a world-class hunting dog. Dogs2DogTags paired the two as part of its mission to couple dogs in need of homes with veterans in need of unconditional love and support.

With Sharplogixx’s, makers of SmartRayVision, sponsorship, Anna met Nate one morning in February during a special event held in our offices. She now joins Nate in his civilian life and will take part in hunting and fishing outreach events Nate organizes in his spare time for fellow veterans.

“We understand the difficulties that our servicemen and women face when returning to civilian life,” said Torre Willadsen, Dogs2DogTags founder and president. “Providing a loving and dedicated service dog can be one of the simplest and most effective ways we can all stand by these brave men and women while easing their post-traumatic stress disorders and addressing the very real veteran suicide rates.”

Dogs2DogTags provides significant treatment options to veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Canine companionship can make a real difference in the fight against an incredibly high suicide rate among veterans. Dogs2DogTags makes these matches possible by saving the lives of shelter canines.

The 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is based in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. It identifies the right dogs, trains them, then places them with deserving service members who have been diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety. There are no out-of-pocket costs for veterans, and all costs are covered by corporate and individual donations.
